Francesco Lafranconi, Mixologist

Francesco Lafranconi is an internationally recognized mixologist, spirits educator and hospitality leader with more than 25 years of experience shaping cocktail culture around the world. He currently serves as Vice President of Beverage and Hospitality Culture for Carver Road Hospitality, overseeing innovative beverage programs and guest experiences across the company's portfolio of acclaimed venues.

Born in Italy, Lafranconi developed his passion for hospitality while working at some of Europe's most prestigious properties, including Hotel Cipriani in Venice, The Gleneagles in Scotland and The Palace Hotel in Gstaad. His global perspective and commitment to excellence have made him one of the industry's most respected voices in mixology and service.

Prior to joining Carver Road Hospitality, Lafranconi served as Executive Director of Mixology and Spirits Educator for Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits of America. He also co-founded MR. COCO at Palms Casino Resort, which was named Eater Las Vegas' "Bar of the Year" in 2019.

Throughout his distinguished career, Lafranconi has received numerous accolades, including Nightclub & Bar's "Mixologist of the Year," Santé Magazine's "Spirit Professional of the Year," Tales of the Cocktail's "Golden Spirit Award," and the Italian Order of Merit for Outstanding Representation in the Beverage Industry.

A passionate educator and mentor, Lafranconi founded the Academy of Spirits and Fine Service and is a founding member of the United States Bartenders Guild Accreditation Program. He has judged premier international competitions and played a leadership role in the 2023 World Mixology Championships.
