Dan Krohmer, Chef

Born and raised in Northern California, Dan started making sushi in Sacramento at the age of 18.  This led to him moving to Kumamoto, Japan to study true traditional techniques in Kaiseki.  Returning to the US, he continued to expand his knowledge in farm to table cuisine.  Blending the two together, he became sous chef to Iron Chef Morimoto in Philadelphia.  With his love to travel, Dan started as a chef to touring musicians around the world, catering to a diversity of acts like Taylor Swift to Van's Warped Tour.  Eventually finding a home in Las Vegas, he opened Other Mama in 2015.  Since then, the restaurant and Dan have received numerous awards and accolades.  Recently he has opened Durango Social Club to highlight up and coming chefs and help grow the vegas hospitality world.
