Chris Okuhara, Chef

A Honolulu, Hawaii native, Chris Okuhara attended the Culinary Institute of the Pacific at Kapiolani before beginning his career with the Mandarin Oriental. His background also includes time with a prestigious Hawaiian country club, the Westin, and ownership of his own catering and banquets business, where he specialized in large-format dining experiences for private events.

For the past four years, Chris has been an integral part of the Aria team, contributing to both the Main Kitchen, Garde Manger, and Butcher Shop operations. His extensive experience in production and commissary settings has further strengthened his leadership and culinary expertise. He then moved to Din Tai Fung at Aria in November 2025.
